I am going to try and push on this.

I emailed Hamilton who are with Aviva, and trying to get some info from them.

On my policy agreement via PPI, Hamilton are the insurers and we did actually speak to these before the loan was accepted, because they go through the details with you, so basically they have to check to see if your eligible or not for the loan and also the insurance.

Now the problem i have is that the stupid broker called Click Finance were the brokers who sold us the loan in 2004 but they dissolved in 2006, despite them running a number of other Click loan companies they will not have part of this.
Its the same manager and director as well!

The lender being Endeavour personal finance, they are unable to help, and not only that they were not covered by GISC/FSA either at the time we taken out the loan.

This case have been with the FOS since 2009 and its taking time because they want to find the connection between both Hamilton and Click Finance.

Looks like its going to be a long wait............

So I have emailed the dept and also sent the CEO a letter, because when I emailed them last week they are not giving much away, only that Endeavour was the lender, I had already informed them of that in the beginning the muppets!

So see what happens over the next week or 2.

This case have been with them since Oct 2009, so its not going to make any difference now waiting longer arh well, never mind, like you said at least its not a no. XXX

As you are aware we are unable to set up your complaint against Click Finance as at the time your payment protection insurance policy was sold, they were not regulated by our service. Therefore your case is part of a number of cases where we are looking at if it is fair and reasonable for the compliant to be set up against the underwriter of the policy, which in you case is Hamilton Insurance Company Limited.

Your claim is similar in circumstance to lots of files where the policy is underwritten by Hamilton Insurance Company Limited. We are reviewing all the paperwork we have on these files to ascertain if there is an agency relationship that exists between Click Finance and Hamilton Insurance Company Limited. As yet we have been unable to establish this relationship, but our investigations are ongoing

However if this situation changes you will be notified.

Well I am still waiting for an email update on more of a detailed report, here is the copy of the email the adjudicator sent us yesterday, as we asked the best way for us to contact him for the detailed update, he got back and said email.
so we got back immediately and asked if he could send the details, but nothing up to now, arh well I must be just the impatient type lol.

This is a complicated one, its still with the FOS and have been on and off for the last few years, its because these are the insurers/underwriters of the loan broker.
The loan broker Click Finance dissolved, then I tried with the lender Endeavour, they were not having it, so the FOS suggested the insurer.

A long battle, but hope its going to be worth it, the FOS/Adjudicator supposed to be emailing me with some detailed updates, nothing up to now, so looks like I will have to continue to be patient lol.
