    Re: Hamilton

Well I have emailed a copy of the letter received as above to my Adjudicator, I expect he will get back to say he already received a copy, but I assumed we would have no response directly from HFC/Endeavour as stated by the Adjudicator that they will be sending directly to him and not us.
I think HFC are just trying to make a point and hoping we will back off, but not a chance!

    Re: Hamilton

I thought HFC/Endeavour were not writing directly to me, the Adjudicator said all responses will be going back to him, yet we received a letter dated 24 June (so they typed this out yesterday - Friday) and it arrived in the post this morning, think they are trying to make a point.
All the time they said HFC had no involvement they are now stating HFC may have been involved, but still covering their ground.
So due to this I am expecting the letter from the Adjudicator about this as well, still in regards of the Click Application form and the Agreement have not been brought up as yet with them, this have only been a recent thing with the FOS, so that is yet to come.

Anyway, letter here received in today's post.........

    Dear Mr & Mrs

    Account number: ***********

We write to you further to your letter dated 14 June 2011.

You requested in your letter details of HFC's involvement with Endeavour Personal Finance.
As you will see on the bottom of your Credit Agreement it states registered number and registered address, then advises a member of the Household International Group of Companies.

As part of the Household International Group of Companies the policy was to speak to customers to ensure information passed on by Brokers were correct. For this reason you could have been contacted by a member of staff from HFC Bank Limited.

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Services Department on 0845 602 8230. Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm who will be pleased to help.

    Yours sincerely

    Department Manager

I do have my doubts, but hope when its passed on to be reviewed that the ombudsman will see through this, I do now also have a good mind to speak to my local MP, but not saying he can do much though, but anything is worth a shot.

    Thank you Cappo xx

Also with him saying there is no need to provide further info unless we wanted to of course - that he feels what we have sent is enough, I do really hope so.

My email from the Adudicator this afternoon.....

    Dear Mr & Mrs

I can confirm that I received and reviewed your papers this afternoon. There is nothing further I require from you unless you feel the need to send more documents in.

I further note your desire for this case to referred to an ombudsman. Once I receive a response from HFC I will be writing to you.

    Yours sincerely

    Re: Hamilton

The fact on this now I believe has switched on a new light in regards of HFC, and not the involvement of Hamilton the insurer.

This is based on the application form via Click Brokers did not have any ppi added and it was obviously added later on in the loan process, but HFC/Endeavour.

I have said all along to the FOS about the HFC and I said all because Hamilton is the direction you want to take, I have never once had any contact with them, only in recent months for information.

    Cheers Cappo.

Yes I know what you mean, a friend of mine also over at MSE recently had a good case rejected, and as said a good case like yours.
I used to have faith in them, but to be honest since the JR I think they've got worse, and want to hurry the complaints without taking anything into consideration, so they can just bring their workload down.
So wrong, and for the wage they get paid as well!
