Hmmm dont rush. Lets see what SaltNVinegar says - he's pretty good at PDL issues

I'll ask him to pop in.

                      Popping in

                      Hi Marling

Ok most urgent one here is Amigo loans as its a guarantor loan.

Who acted as your guarantor on the loan application? Problem here is that any default will also reflect on their credit history and they will be pursued also for the debt.

They're a shady outfit, who in my opinion should be shut down. In the past they have come close to having their consumer credit license revoked, and also have had conduct requirements imposed on them by the OFT.

IMO they are also in breach of the requirements of their CCL as they have a trading style of 'credit counselling organization' and 'Debthelp UK which implies they are a charitable/non-profit organization which of course they are not.

You also have to question the interests of an organization that is trading debt advice services, and then at the same time offering high interest rate loans. I wonder whether people seeking debt advice from them are then contacted by one of their lending operations????

                      But moving on.......

Next this may shock you a little. You have 5 payday loans but with only 4 companies.

Pounds to Pocket and Quickquid are actually one and the same payday loan company (casheuronetuk LLC).

It may surprise you but they're an american company based in Delaware where their registered office is actually nothing more than a front office which receives their mail.

They're a murky outfit which I have crossed swords with on many occasion (and beaten then back each time!).

The fact they have provided 2 loans to you (albeit via 2 trading names) I think is sufficient we can give them a hard time under irresponsible lending guidelines.

Wonga will give you some grief to start, but as the 'golden child' of the PDL industry we will use this against them as they are under a lot of scrutiny right now.

Payday Express are relatively easy to see off so wouldn't worry about them just now.

Sounds like you've done the right things so far, you just need to make sure your income is going into that unrelated account.

If you can let me know the info regards Amigo Loans as the priority for now then we can move onto the next ones......

                      best

                        Re: Marling pdl diary

                        Oh just one other thing......

I noticed that you took majority of the loans out in April 2013.

So my assumption is that you have been making rollover payments right?

Could you also update the post for each company with how much you have paid to date in rollover payments?

We can use this against them also....

                            Hi Marling

Would you mind posting up the PM you sent me here on the open forum. I don't think there is anything there that is sensitive or would identify you in any way.

Everyone here is totally non-judgemental so please do not worry about that.

I prefer to do it that way so that any advice given is out in the open and others can sometimes bring a different perspective or even point out risks/benefits to any advice given. Helps give a balanced view.

Once you do I'll respond with my thoughts.

                            Thanks
