    Just had DLC ring and txt me

    I've got a couple of old egg accounts that I went the unenforceable route a couple of years ago. They where being handled by DLC and I managed to put them to bed and I hadn't heard anything from them for two years.

    I must admit it was quite funny when I said to them, I'm coming around to their place to discuss this in person( I don't live to far from them) they didn't seem to like this idea.

    Anyway , as I said they just been on the phone and I refused to discuss anything, my question is though surely the accounts are now owned by Barclaycard ( I'm sure I've had letters to this fact) and as such I don't have any accounts with egg and I can tell them to bog off.

    The cards are now owned by B/card and should be in their name now, have you had any emails or letters from B/card informing you of this?
    DLC used to be the people that Egg had collecting on mine (although there would have been other DCA's for other people) but it changed to Moorcrap at the end of last year which I imagine was because Barclays bought it but could have been because they were not getting what they wanted from me!
    I would ignore them until they write to you and then take it from there, if they keep phoning don't answer their security questions and they will soon get a letter to you! Either that or give them a Niddy number that they can ring!!

      I must admit I like all this transfering of card ownship lark, each time it happens they must lose a load more agreements

          Well it appears that the barclaycard purchase only took into account one card, ( I have two with EGG) . So it appears that DLC have brought the other debt, so I'm not sure quite how to play it. Should I just send account sold while in dispute, they can't argue that didn't know it was in dispute as they where handling it for egg???

          Or should I go around and to their place and doorstep them and say I'm not leaving until you have proof of a enforceable agreement, what do you think.

          I've had three companies start chasing me this month, they must be all chasing new target and I'm in the mood to break some bones !!!!!!

                Just had a letter from Hillesden re the egg account , they have admitted that they haven't got a copy of the agreement, but they are going to chase me anyway. They also state they didn't know that the account is under dispute, funny that as they where handling it for egg before they brought it.

                I need to reply I look forwards to hearing your thoughts on what I should say

                  I'd send Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | Account Sold whilst in Dispute - even if they've had it before!

                        No need mate, or add a line at the top, up to you - they're still wrong no matter what
