Re: Who and what complaint?
Well their letter states that they are demanding immediate payment of the overdue ammount, if they don't receive it within 7 days they will serve a DN and charge £16. They will also report to a licensed CRA.
This has been ongoing for months with them refusing to supply anything without a signed letter!

Re: Who and what complaint?
You only have to miss one payment to be defaulted
Regards to signature required, this is bull. Quote s.175 cca(1974)....
There is a template here that we usually use:---> http://forums.all-about-debt.co.uk/s...&postcount=116

Re: Who and what complaint?
they are not allowed to refuse to try to produce a CCA regardless of lack of signature. Why was it changed to a loan? Were you having trouble paying it? If you were having trouble paying 6/7 years ago and they changed it then I would have thought it would be defaulted then and it can't be defaulted twice. Which bunch of cowboys is this with?

Re: Who and what complaint?
I thought you had to miss three payments before a default is registered.

Who and what complaint?
Hi who should I complain to and is there any legislation or case law?
My OH has a CC that was changed to an interest - free loan over 10 years (about 6 or 7 years ago). A payment was possibly missed last September. So far the OC has refused any details without a signature and has just refused a CCA request for the same reason. There is a SO which is still being paid and all communication goes to our home address.
Finally in April I sent a letter requesting the complaints procedure which has been ignored!
OH has now been told a default is going to be registered and to pay immediately.
I am trying to compile a sufficiently caustic letter and want something other than CPUTR to quote. (I believe the CCA is unenforceable as there is no right to cancel box.
