Re: Full S.A.R to CRA
Ahh they'll not provide that as they are appointed by the firm, or the lender in this case so in essence the data shared does not belong to them it belongs to the data owner.
So look at it like this, if you want to get the data that is shared you go to the bank. The CRA only share data supplied to them hence they use the get out clause "we don't own the data and if we remove something, the lender will just re-add it at a later date in their monthly feed"...
Point is, you might be going about this the wrong way but regardless, they have not compled with s.7 DPA1998 as a CRA is a limited subject access worth £2.

Re: Full S.A.R to CRA
one more question ( for now lol )
I want to get all the info they give to company's searching my report most of which is linked address and linked account data which is not mine and am worried that this info will be missing as they will say its not your data which it isent but they still supply it to company's when i make an app or something.
Or am i worrying for nothing and they will just send me every thin they have on me or consider linked to me

Re: Full S.A.R to CRA
Thanks for the quick reply i sent £10 but got my credit report.
I hear expirean are the worse cra i have had truble geting my report off them but i am sceard of how hard it will be to deal with them if there worse than call credit.
How the hell call credit are allowed to be a cra is mind boggling i would not trust them with a paper round. Am not saying this because i can not get them todo what i want.
No matter what the question you get one of 2 template replys from them i have tested this i asked them for there address via there internal messaging system and was sent a reply for disputing an account on my report. I have even asked them why my card was charged when i signed up as it was a trial i was sent the disputed account reply.
The only time i got a different reply was when i suggested the head of CS should consider a career change and informed him McDonald is hiring.
Thanks for the link i will have a fiddle with it so its relevant to cra.

Re: Full S.A.R to CRA
Ahh, you only requested a credit record. Did you send £2 or £10? if £10 then they have messed up, if £2 then they did correct.Originally posted by ckplay View PostHi
I want to send a full S.A.R to all three CRA's has any one done this i have attempted to send SAR to call credit but was only sent short version.
How do I word the letter so they don't just send credit report.
Thanks
Daz
Please clarify. If you sent £2 then you need to redo it using this
---> Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | Subject Access (SAR) - Advanced Request
with the correct fee of £10
If you did send £10 and they only sent the credit record, send the below template but add this at the start..
"I recently sent £10 for a full s.7 Data Protection Act Subject request to which you responded only by sending my statutory credit report which is included within any SAR I make. Please remedy this error and send all details you hold about me, including my most up to date credit record. The fee has previously been paid for this request."
Obviously edit the template and remove reference to the tenner being enclosed as it won't be if you already paid.
Make sense?
