Experian was with us in about a week.
Exquifax must have taken 3 or more weeks but just within 40 days.

That said and I now realise that if you are really looking at your credit files you do need all 3.

Equifax came up trumps with our CL Finance default which got them a from ICO.
The other 2 didnt have this feed obviously.

Like everything associated with this industry I really dont think they see us as customers.
Equifax state 7 days for credit file I think 40 days is if you sar them that said equifax are still wankers just wanted to check file to see if any of the lovelies had registered new defaults.

Well if you have proof like you suggest then you complain about the originating bank, Santander, to the ICO and also send a formal complaint to the bank and then once they fail to resolve it you go to the FOS.

First things first, write a detailed letter and send it here: ceo@santander.co.uk

Threaten her with ICO and FOS in your complaint and title it, Formal Complaint and Letter before Action.

    Keep us updated.

Santander operate in this country so banking regulations most definitely apply to them.

    Re: Full S.A.R to CRA

umm every thing comes back to santander then the reason am going at the cra is because i disputed stuff on equifax there online system it went wrong so i emailed the nice lady at equifax i got her email from here same day she replied and said ye i can see the incorrect linked address removed it and my file was clean.

From my limited and some what misinformed understanding i think it all went wrong when santander took over posting to cra for A&L.

its around then ( from what i can see from current reports as was not checking my reports back then ) that all this address history happened i have like 30+ most of which i have never lived at and the once that i have lived at are incorrect

for example they have my address down as the entire apartment block not my apartment. which may be why my report is so bad i have this horrible feeling that when i apply for something am linked to all the bad credit at about 10 different apartment blocks lol.

So my time would be better spent hammering santander the problem with that is my time is better spent talking to the monkey at the zoo than trying to get santander to do any thing

Thanks for your help in this as you dont understand how far i m down the wrong road on this one lol

to be a CRA there is no licence other than a DPA one and possibly a CCL so less than a grand

Anyone, as call credit did, can do it but remember the banks want a pro-bank CRA, not a pro-debtor one. They took years to fully trust Call Credit and some banks still won't use them now.

    Re: Full S.A.R to CRA

No, linked addresses are performed via share data at the bank side as they create the link when they search you so lets assume you live at address A for X years then move to address B. The moment you notify your bank they will change to the new address, agreed? That's that - they will then, at the next share upload feed notify the CRA of your new address which will auto create a link to the old address.

So, now lets assume that somewhere along the lines you stayed at a mates for a week, but notified your bank of this, that could then create a link to your original address, the new one and the mates one - all caused by the originating bank that you notified of the address change.

Normally links are created when you apply for new credit, especially within 3 years as they like 3yrs of address history. If a link is incorrect the CRA can request removal, but if it is genuine they will refer you back to the lender that added it. If it is genuine that would mean you MUST have applied to that lender for something whilst either at that address or as part of any application process.

    Make sense, yet?

anything between you and them, so any letters you may have sent or any cra requests plus a copy of that report and anything they have done with your data. The fact is, the computerised sharing process (CAIS/SHARE etc) is an automated process within their systems that allow sharing of data.

You will never get access to that, only from the bank side if for any reason they had a hard copy, which is unlikely.

I don't see what it is you want, exactly. The CRA's only report what is told to them. They cannot make decisions and cannot add random data. If an address link is there it will state the lender that created the link, so you approach the lender. Not the CRA as they cannot create links.

    Make sense?
