I knew this would happen, as soon as they told me that they could not find my original CCA I guessed there would have to be cuts somewhere.

    Good riddance to 'em!

My thoughts exactly Ken! It must mean no matter what the article said they're not doing well. Shame.

Must be chill winds running through the industry. Are some of the bigger boys starting to make it uncomfortable for the other nestlings.

Maybe these big loans to the likes of Marlin are starting to starve the less well off DCA's of new misery (loan books.)

            Once again good riddance.

A South African DCA wonder how that works. South Africans are not renown for being quivering wallflowers.

I think Niddy has had a big hand in this. Well if it were not for his advice a few years back they would have probably opened a new branch on my account

I hope the Capetown Office is the one that houses Tel-O-Gram. The Tame lying bunch of crap that phone your employers of Neighbors saying they need to confirm your identity in order to deliver a package. Or the other one, pretending to by HRMC and asking your spouse for details because you have a rebate coming.

Less of them means less people will be bothered by them, at least that's what I'm hoping.

Only 100 jobs to go? I may set up a fake firm and try and hire them all, but literally fuck them all about and make their lives a misery....

Wankers, all of them. There is paying the bills and there is working for the devil. Choose the former and fuck you all - rot in hell. I have no sympathy, in fact I hope a dca chases you when you can't pay your bills then see how you feel. Smug tossers.

Re: Debt buyer’s office closures to affect 100 jobs

I don't think anyone who has been on the receiving end of Capquests threat monkeys will be sad to hear of the job losses.

The way they conduct their 'tracing' is borderline unlawful, and certainly intended to cause embarrassment and harassment.

Why anyone needs to conduct such 'tracing activities' when the person they are trying to trace has been living at the same address for 7 years, is on the electoral role, is at the same address that the original creditor has etc it is obvious that its all intended to apply pressure.

What great news for them - just in time for Xmas too, a bit like the way they time their issuing of Statutory Demands. Theres some poetic justice in that.

The consumer is that sleeping giant.!!
