    Wonga

    • Taken out: September 2011

    • Date a payment was last made - Never.

    • Status (i.e. did you discuss a payment arrangement or just stop paying)? December 2011

    • When applying for the loan did you have to fill out an application form and do you have a copy? I did fill out one, but do not have a copy.

    • During the application for the loan were you given any pre-contact information or fact sheet so you could assess the affordability of the loan that was being offered to you and do you have a copy? I believe pre contract info was given but not a fact sheet. I also do not have a copy.

    • Were you given a credit agreement and if so do you have a copy? I believe so, but do not have a copy.

    • Did you ever roll over the loan and if so how many times? Rolled over once, and then ignored it.

    • If you rolled over the it would be helpful to understand the following - the amount of money you have repaid in total compared to the capital lent - I've not repaid anything.

    • If you rolled over the loan were you provided new pre-contract information and new credit agreement each time and if so do you have copies? I don't believe so?

    • Did you receive any arrears notice/letter also containing information on where you can go to get advice on your debts? Yes.

    • Have you received any sort of default or termination notice to your POSTAL address? Yes.

    • When was the last time you sent any correspondence to them (either by email or post)? December 2011.

Please also provide information on all communication sent/received in the following format:

I have subsequently shreded all communication from all companies, only because of naievity. Almost out of sight, out of mind. Albeit this isnt true.

    Hi TibetanMonk

Apologies - I only have just seen this thread. I think we can get to grips with these. What I need to start with is for you to make a seperate post for each payday loan similar to this one by Cecilia:

    http://forums.all-about-debt.co.uk/s...l=1#post340160

I then need the following information for each payday loan:

    • Date loan taken out
    • Date a payment was last made
    • Status (i.e. did you discuss a payment arrangement or just stop paying)?
    • When applying for the loan did you have to fill out an application form and do you have a copy?
    • During the application for the loan were you given any pre-contact information or fact sheet so you could assess the affordability of the loan that was being offered to you and do you have a copy?
    • Were you given a credit agreement and if so do you have a copy?
    • Did you ever roll over the loan and if so how many times?
    • If you rolled over the it would be helpful to understand the following - the amount of money you have repaid in total compared to the capital lent
    • If you rolled over the loan were you provided new pre-contract information and new credit agreement each time and if so do you have copies?
    • Did you receive any arrears notice/letter also containing information on where you can go to get advice on your debts?
    • Have you received any sort of default or termination notice to your POSTAL address?
    • When was the last time you sent any correspondence to them (either by email or post)?

Please also provide information on all communication sent/received in the following format:

date (xx/xx/xxxx) - Communication from creditor
date (xx/xx/xxxx) - Communication to creditor

I know its a lot of information to ask for but depending on the answers could give several approaches of attack to respond to them.

I asked for this PDL thread as it needs separating so SnV etc can get to grips with it. PDL's are quite different and we treat them differently too

There re will be the general diary plus this PDL thread

TM to get help it is best if you don't start loads of similar threads. This way posters offer help on your main thread and posts don't get lost in sub threads!

PayDay Debts - Hindsight is a wonderful thing

    Hey everyone

So the majority of my debt £8k is Payday loans.

The following companies are ones that I owe -

    Wonga
    Payday UK
    QuickQuid
    myJAR (Previously Txt4Loan)
    WageDayAdvance
    MiniCredit
    SpeedyCredit (Now in administration?)
    247MoneyBox
    CashGenie

The majority, apart from CashGenie & 247MoneyBox, have been sent to DCAs, however, Wonga & QuickQuid I no longer hear from, the same goes with SpeedyCredit & PayDay UK, however that may be because the debt has been sold to a DCA that no longer sends me letters.

myJAR has now been sent to CRS Finance that have sent a letter before action, several times, and threatened bailiffs, which I have sent a removed right of implied access letter to them and have a copy of.

Any help on how to remove them and settle them would be greatly appreciated.
