Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we are too intelligent and experienced with living in a Society that could not care about its ordinary citizens i.e. 40/50/60s, and have been amongst dictatorships and the consequences. = Tory is a Dxxxxxxxxxxxp and anti workers rights. History shows this factor, and recent history as happened.

Most EU bills and Human Rights were instigated by the UK.s assistance including E U court.

Well said, Nanna! And the more they bully the fewer votes they will get - such arrogance to think that we swallow all this garbage, and can't work things out for ourselves.

I've been hearing a lot about the "Race to the Bottom". When is that taking place?

It's a stock Remain camp phrase, that to Leave would trigger a race to the bottom (whatever that means). It makes a good sound bite, but what does it actually mean?

I think I've gone daft , Cameron's been banging on about having to pay for medical treatment abroad if we leave. We have to have insurance don't we ? and make sure we a re covered before treatment or pay for it ourselves.where does he get free treatment abroad from.?

I suppose he is talking about the European Health Insurance Card, which entitles you to reduced cost or free treatment while you are abroad in Europe.

However setting this facility - which you may not even need - while you are on holiday for a couple of weeks, above all the considerations for leaving, would be pretty shallow, wouldn't it?

They seem to think that the "younger generation" are a bunch of sheep who can't think for themselves, and will all naively vote to stay in.

Two days ago I was on a 2-hour car journey with my 17-year-old niece (who is a bit peeved that she is just missing out on voting by four months) and she didn't say which way she would vote if she were able but she agreed with me when I was saying I find the EU as an institution is not interested in the welfare of ordinary citizens of any EU country anywhere. Also about the idiocy of "Europe" having been made synonymous as a word with "EU". If we leave the EU, we're not going to hoist the anchor and float off to the middle of the Atlantic! I'm hoping that it will embolden ordinary citizens of other EU countries to throw of the shackles and demolish the EU as an institution in time. My niece also commented that there have been other agreements and treaties between countries in the past that have become untangled but that life went on without the sky falling in.

Also they keep saying that this referendum is the "first chance in a generation" -- no. It's the first chance we've had a say on the subject as citizens in at least two generations!

Conservative donor withdraws support over David Cameron's 'irresponsible' EU campaign

"Mr Truell ( a pensions expert) warned that remaining in the EU would be more damaging to pension funds because of legislation planned by Brussels.

"The much greater risk is remaining within the EU, they've got explicit plans to destroy British pensions," he warned, adding: "All the final salary funds will go bankrupt and their companies will go bankrupt supporting them, that's about 8,000 pension funds in the private sector."

Mr Truell said that similar legislation imposed on insurance companies had cost the industry over £3billion."

But Human Rights are nothing to do with the EU, but are down to the Council of Europe - which has nearly twice as many member states.

And a lot of workers rights were made here in the UK without the EU apparantly.
