  • Re: EU referendum: Cameron announces date of vote

I watched the first 30 minutes of last nights debate ..and I use the word debate loosely .....

I decided against watching any longer, those three remain camp "ladies" and I also use the term "ladies" loosely ...we're discussing, they didn't attend for a debate they attended to make personal attacks on Boris Johnson and anyone who dared to suggest we would be better off leaving !
Bunch of *****......If anything all, they did was confirm I've made the right decision in voting to leave ...

Interesting video clip of how the people of Norway were told the same doom-and-gloom lies before they voted against the EU.

If the EU is such a good thing, why is this scenario being put forward?

Has she just woke up ? Found out why Amber Rudd picked on Boris , at some point she walked into a room he was in and he said
"Hello Amber , how's the traffic lights?. The powers that be seem to think that Mark Carney and the IMF are going to have another scaremonger spree coz it's not going at all well for remain .

              I saw a news item today -
Thousands of refugee children aged between 7 and 14 are being forced to work in Turkish clothing factories on long hours and low pay. The item included a clip of EU President Donald Tusk praising Turkey and saying it is an example to the World.

I do hate the exploitation of children , ( yes there is a but) but it's happens in other cultures , history tells us that how ever hard we try to get western values into other cultures it doesn't work, why should it ? We wouldn't appreciate others interfering with the way we do things .

It used to happen in this country 150 years ago, but we became more enlightened. Many countries have a lot of catching up to do. However, this is something which suits the big corporations as their clothing, their expensive trainers etc etc, are all made in sweat-shops around the world.

I've been watching the debates and yes the 3 witches were awful with their nasty jibes at Boris. He responded with dignity and let the 2 women on his side tear them to bits. I reckon we're leaving come the 23rd. It'll be our independence day. Immigration clearly trumps any economic issues and the remainers haven't got a solution. The 'reform the EU from within' is a load of bollocks and people know that. At it's simplest I see it as a case of being governed by westminster or ruled by the EU. I think Martin Lewis made that statement. Here's a very good read that people may like to share.

That's the good part. I think people have become tired of the scare tactics and have switched off. I hope this is the case. :-) Scaring people isn't positive. I've noticed Brexit now referring to the UK being a part of the global economy, reaching outwards etc. This is nice and positive and they've stolen this line from the EU remainers lol.

Funny that scare tactics have been mentioned.

Georgie Porgie has been reported as saying that Brexit will bring reduced pensions, loss of bus passes, plagues of locusts (well, not the latter - yet!) Wonder if it is a coincidence that the polls are saying that it is the "older generation" who will be voting to leave?

This is, pure and simple, blackmail from the "remainders"!

The reamainers seem to be relying on blackmail and instilling fear. However we of the older generation don't scare so easily!
