Hi to all fellow Niddy fans ya

I have been loitering and following the progress of all fellow devotees since earlier this year and eventually took the plunge to do something about it back in May 2010. A bit like a lot of other people on here we got ourselves into a mess - living of the cards etc and availing of lots of credit that was freely available :red

Earlier this year the bubble burst and we have been struggling to make min payments since. :what

Credit Card - CITI
Balance - £5000
commenced in 2000
status - stopped paying in May 2010
owner - CITI

After following the process as per Niddys excellent instructions and forwarding the template letters and responses during each sage of the process i received the news i wanted last week or so ago........



They have actually stated in their response that the account was not enforceable as they could not locate the CCA.... gh

As per Niddys instructions the letter is stored somewhere very safe! :yeah One down a few to go!!!!

status - In arrears and defaulted.
Owner - DCA / Albion.

Albion have written demanding full payment of the balance outstanding. They have done this twice inside a fortnight. I had already written to the lender enclosing and SOA and asking for them to consider reduced payments. I have also made contact with Albion and forwarded them a copy of SOA as well - i'll update you on progress on this as it goes along.

Owner - Lender but have threatened to take legal action if no payment received.

Niddy this is the one i emailed you today - could you give me some advice on my next step please?

After i stopped paying they passed it to a DCA and i then decided to try for CCA back in November this year. As soon as the DCA got the CCA request they responded by saying they had now passed the matter back to the CC company. we have still had no other response and will plan to follow the process through as before with this one.

Hiya

Please confirm the lender/dca name & start dates (as applicable) in your above posts..... You'll notice i've tidied the whole thread up for you and added some colour & additional text such as on accounts 2 & 3 (both taken in 2008 so will be enforceable - you need to arrange a repayment plan with them really)..

Please complete the blanks in the other posts (click edit post and fill in the start date and lender/dca name)!

Have been missing in action since because of illness/work/weather etc.
Hope you had a lovely Christmas and hope we all have a Happy New Year.
Update relating to my accounts
Acc No 4 RBC CC
CCA Received - will email you for advice and guidance.
THey have included the signed agreement and about another 8 pages headed the same that looklike T&Cs.
Acc No 5 MINT CC
As above but without the extra 8 pages and i will send to you for advice.

PS i will not clog you up with the 8 pages unless you tell me you want to see them.

However, as you've signed a credit agreement alongside the actual terms, they are enforceable so not the best outcome but for now, you can blag it and see what happens....

I have today received a letter from moorcroft ref notice of intended litigation.
Can you please tell me what i should reply with - i have seen something on other posts about a similar case but wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong. :red
