    £1 cca taken from debt!

    Evening folks,

    Dont know what to do with this, my better half requested cca from Apex/barclayscard begining of april, got no reply, sent reminder begin of may and still nowt.

    Come today, another demand for cash but the debt has gone down by a pound! Coincidence? I dont think so the lousy barstewards!!

    Is their a particular line of letter i should send for this or do i just unleash my vitriol at will?

    Never had this before so am unsure. Thanks for help, my minor anger is now subsiding.. and breathe lol

    Crapbot Farcical pulled this stunt on me in 2008, but had to back down following a formal complaint. It is absolutely essential that you do complain, to prevent the limitation clock from being reset. The longer it is since the last payment or written acknowledgment of the alleged debt, the more serious the situation.

    Have you got proof of posting or delivery for the CCA request and the follow up?

      Thanks for the reply. Yes i have proof of posting for the original request via 1st class recorded letter. Cant put my hands on the follow up but will do.

      Do i write to them directly?

                              Apex are buggers for applying the Statutory £1 to the account, they did it to me too, but I eventually got a refund after taking it to them.
