Interestingly I've received a few calls and texts from some clowns called MMF -> http://www.mmile.com

I've just sent an online message and told them if they contact me again I'll sue em!! Cheeky feckers - wonder if they realise just what they've started by contacting me (clearly the wrong person).....

It appears their sophisticated trace system is rather crap

Our sophisticated trace systems ensure that individuals can be located even if they have changed address several times.

          Hello matey

Crossed swords with this bunch on numerous occasions as they specialize in the collection and purchase of payday loan debts. They have been known to issue claims and do follow through (though I have got a couple withdrawn on irresponsible lending, affordability assessment and pre-contract info challenges).

I have evidence that they do not 'play fair' in respect to adherence to previous OFT guidelines so will be interesting to see what they throw at you.

          I suspect a mauling coming
"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

The consumer is that sleeping giant.!!

They want to take me on I'll welcome it with open arms. I've thrown much bigger out the way in the past. This shitty little firm of wannabe cowboys doesn't concern me. I might SAR and see if they send me some poor blokes agreement.

              Plebs.

Yes, seen plenty of mention of these clowns on various other forums.

Looks like they are after Mackenzie Hall's old crown of being the most annoying t**ts of a DCA ever.

Have you found out what this is about yet. If you google motormile finance there is lots about them, they seem pretty horrible.

I saw an old post of yours about HSBC, could this be about that?

It's not mine, that much I do know.

I called yesterday and told them that I am waiting for the doorstep visit as when he calls I will rip his fookin head off. They seemed to take that seriously but we'll see....

                        Hi
Have you heard anymore on this as I have been having emails from these people about a paydayloan that I never had. I telephoned them but am still getting emails. I don't know what to do. They say I owe £400 which I can pay but its not mine. I am worried they will ruin my perfect credit score which I am very proud of

Why would you pay a debt that is not yours? Forget the phone calls - you need to put this in writing.

Send them a letter, recorded delivery, stating that you totally dispute the debt, and that it is not yours, and that if they continue to demand a debt without proving it is yours that you will make a formal complaint to the FoS and FCA.

                            Wow that was quick
I do not want to pay it but I need to keep my credit score perfect.

I will write to them and see what they say. Is there anyone in particular that I should write to or just the address on the website?

if the debt is not yours how can it ruin your credit file. sort out the ownership of the debt first, then we can help with any default that has been registered with the Credit Reference Agency's
just send it recorded to the address you have,
