Where are the successes?

I was just thinking - if I was a newbie, I'd be looking for some evidence that this forum was successful.

Now debt reclaiming/ fighting/ whatever is a hard business, and takes time, so successes won't be coming within a few weeks - but isn't it worth us having a forum for when people have "won" and more specifically are clear of debt?

Or is there no-one like that yet?

Ok, successes can be found on people's respective diaries/threads - sorry but we've not got a specific place as such, being a success is only as far as the lender/dca allows it. By that I mean we have a success a day here, with unenforceability but as we all know, my saying it is UE does not matter a jot - only a judge can classify an agreement as irredeemably unenforceable in line with s.127.

However we have lots of other successes such as people getting low offers accepted (hint hint); people getting confirmed no agreement from lenders; people getting PPI/Charges reclaim and best of all people beating the system and stopping formal action such as ccj's.

As I say, they are scattered all over the place right now because we do not (quite deliberately) want lenders etc coming here, seeing such a thread then fighting back at us - kinda like us rubbing their noses in it.

Point of fact, we rely on donations - if we were not successful then people wouldn't donate - however they do, so we must be doing something right. Yes, we've had over 100 successes (from memory) but as I say they are all over the shop, quite deliberately.

At any point, within the 6 year Limitation Period, a lender can create a recon and then take an account out of unenforceability thus we tend not to rub their noses in it too much....

As an aside; Allan had a result today - £10k debt knocked down to £2k in F&F settlement.

hi all,
I for one have had a lot of success thanks to niddy, we actually have our life back and enjoying our life again, 6 months ago nothing but phone calls letters ect non stop worrying about our situation.
SO THANKS TO NIDDY AND EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM SUCCESS IS PLENTIFUL

I guess the point about not encouraging lenders to reopen cases is really important!

As helmsman said, success isn't just measured in terms of money but by getting your life and sanity back, by receiving support and advice and by the realisation that you're not the lowest of the low as some people try to make out.

So, we're ALL a success story on here! (Thanks to Niddy and his hard work )

also I like the feeling of fighting back, they (banks etc) royally screwed us, really royally screwed us and precipitated our spiral into horrendous debt, everytime they return a debt to the creditor or they can't find the legal documents they are supposed to have, that is success, and it makes me feel better!
