  • Complex Correspondence Team?

Hello team, anyone know anything about this?.. its where I've been told to send my CCA request to for an RBS card.

    1. Its hardly "complex" to provide me with my agreement

    2. I'm not going to anyway. Its up to the agency that are chasing me to supply the agreement surely?

"Complex", for a bank, involves being able to scratch their head and their backside at the same time.

      Hmmm

So for a bank that is required to fulfill its legal obligations you now have to contact its 'complex correspondence' team as a CCA request would appear to be beyond the abilities of its customer services department.

God help their customers should you have a 'complex' banking query.

I'm guessing that the words of more than 2 syllables confused the poor dears.

Who is the DCA? Have you looked in the templates section here to respond to the DCA trying to avoid their obligations?

Thanks everyone. My thoughts exactly - they can't find it. Anyway, sent it all back to Apex.

          Re: Complex Correspondence Team?

          Hello again,

In the interest of maintaining contact (so they cant use that against me in any way) I've amalgamated parts of two template letters for a DCA to receive when they HAVE passed my CCA request to the OC, BUT the OC requires another request direct to them apparently.

Or is it just easier to write to the OC in any case?

RBS dont know the difference between a CCA Request and a lunchtime sandwich order. Seriously, if you have proof the request was made, it dont matter what junk they come back with.

ive had two Natwest Credit card CCA Requests come back demanding a signature, when ive put them in their place, they have replied again returning my £1 and asking for £10 for a SAR Request.

Its not for us to remind them of the law, their duty, or how to do their job. Let them remain in default and slap them with the facts should they get shirty at a later date. Seriously, dont threat, see it as a win win situation.

Hello FP, yes they have written once and called a couple of times. I'm not susceptible to their tactics, however I've now decided to write saying essentially that "I've made formal CCA requests - just deal with it" and see what comes.....
