  • Re: Hooray Hall. Adventures of a Handyman.

Hi SC, My old pub landlord used to stand outside on Sunday afternoons and shout at Joggers as then ran past, You lazy Boogers, If you worked hard enough Monday to Friday, you wouldn't have to spend your weekends running.

Now he was only thinking that they should have been in his pub propping up the bar, but in some ways he was right.

What ever happened to the old days of physical labor, folks walking to work or the shops. Spending evenings in the garden tending the Veg plot. There wasn't a need for Gyms and Jogging for normal folk, daily life was exercise enough.

Soapbox away, Handy is already wishing his day wasn't going to be so hard. Grass cutting and weeding, then another tree to fell.

    Anyone need some exercise?

    Regards, Handy.

Sorry if I sounded like I was complaining, these things just have to be done. Just that sometimes you think I must have killed a Robin to have luck like this. Anyway she managed to get a good night.

Better than I did, there was a gale blew in off the sea about 3am, then the terriers started to snore. (they always sleep on the bed).

It's going to be a Red Bull sort of day.

      Regards all, Handy.
Could be worse...ever smelt a rat fart? anyone have any spare primark bags they want to send me (or should I put this on freecycle)...make fabbo rattie bedding

Hi SC, how do you know, have you been peeking. Seriously Handy doesn't do Commando anymore.

At least not since the last Hernia, I need all the support I can get these days (I find Budgie Smugglers a Great help)

Glad you have your FB misunderstanding sorted.

To all my other mates, just cos I haven't posted as much don't go thinking it's gone quiet here at Hooray Hall. Plenty to report on when I get the chance. Mrs Handy is improving slowly but still needs watching to make sure she keeps her backside planted firmly in her chair. It's next week before we go back to the Hospital, I think the pot will stay on a while longer though.

Our neighbors the Fod-Scrotums are starting building work next door. That will be a post in its self as It's a grade 2 listed and they haven't applied for planning yet.

Congrats to Alland I read his post on todays Vigilante
        action.

        I can identify with him.

        Regards all, Handy.

          Handy!!

I've just spent a couple of days in Kinloss and I took the kids to Findhorn for a wee whiley. The jets were out playing in the sun, it was a sight I've not seen in ages! I think they may have been at Lossie though because all aircraft have been removed from Kinloss..there are still a few good looking men in uniform kicking around though

Well SC if you don't know, PM Swanny I'm sure he can give you a better explanation of tight underpants than I can.

Sorry Swanny, I think I need male help here. Now no one get upset, but I believe God is Female, because only a woman would put testicles on the outside.

Now before anyone says anything our local bishop fell of his chair laughing at that one.

Regards all, back in a bit if I get chance.

Think i can guess which one the women of the forum would prefer.

Well it's been a sod of a week. Our neighbors are causing problems, not for us but for their tenants I can feel a post coming on, but it will be over the weekend as a Clagg (Horsefly bite) has given me an arm the size of Popeye. Before anyone says its from Wrong I am allergic to the little boogers. At least once a year I end up on Antihistamines for a few days while the swelling goes down.

Well I'm off now to see who else I can Annoy Chat to for 5.

                          Regards all, Handy.

Well me? I'm sitting here with a 3 metre ethernet cable stretched across the room and a virus . Can't use wifi cos like it got hacked...thinking last one of the apprentice on Sabbath - HOW WILL I COPE!!!

Good news...Uncle K whom I've sent two letters to since Aunt D the family matriach died in Dec sent me a wee note today. Got his facts completley derriere up about holidays but never mind..

Bad news....I was up @ 4am so txted Ma - forgot..Ma thinks her phone is recent so therefore left it on all night for the alarm :

Ma was not happy and told me this when in agony with an ear virus waiting for NHS call hold to phone me back @ 7.45am....and then said she MUST do the ironing : I think it's my hormones making me overreact to the latter :

Anyhow I'm a month vaping now...

                              However..

A warning......for those thinking of going down under with budgies....

this is from the Daily Mail -http://www.electroniccigarettedirect...kers/#more-260

I guess the same would be said in Budgie land as they're banned in nZ.....

So now I need to extricate this maccie off my leg and sit up...
