Letter today from Link (bought GE Money loan debt - enforceable)

It's headed 'Ignoring this letter will not make this debt go away'. They want me to phone them (no chance to discuss what options are available for me to settle this debt. If I don't make an offer to repay they may review the information held on me by the CRAs 'to ascertain how we can best ensure this debt is repaid.'

I can save them the bother: I'm defaulted on loads of debts, I have a ccj (though it doesn't show on my credit report), I'm unemployed, rent my home and have a 10 year old car - ie I don't have anything to repay them with!

Guess what? I'm going to ignore the letter and file it away.

Unless you recommend a different course of action?

Letter from Fredricksons - Capital One have complied with cca request. If they don't hear from me within the next 10 days with payment proposals further action will commence.

They've had the 'Threat to commence litigation' template. Wait and see what the further action is?

Strangely, this letter had a first class stamp on it instead of being sent in the usual 'UK Mail' envelope - any significance?

We have also noted the mailing changes from some of the wet stone dwellers. Perhaps UK Mail have put up their prices or a bank has called in their overdraft

          regards

I got a letter last week from Bryan Carter Solicitors which was franked at 28p but when I went to buy some second class stamps I was charged 36p.

Seems like Moorcroft don't like me anymore.

First they pass on my Barclaycard account to Westcot and now my LTSB (UE) account to Robbers Way.

Account sold while in dispute on its way to them.

Previous letter from Fredricksons (Capital One) said that if they didn't hear from me within 10 days with my payment proposals, then further action would commence.

Today I found out what the 'further action' entails - a big yellow card saying that I'm a confirmed resident (yep! This is the address from which I've been writing to you) and that I have failed to reply to correspondence or make a payment arrangement. If I don't make a payment my account will be passed to solicitors with authorisation (from whom?) to proceed with immediate litigation proceedings against me.

                                Not sure whether to
                                a) ignore
                                b) send a quick letter detailing the dates of letters sent to them (including from when they had the account earlier in the year with Capquest sandwiched in between)
                                c) Send a 'Threat to Commence Litigation (again! They've also had 2x 'Threat-O-Gram - letter Before Action, and Bryan Carter have also received this)
                                d) send Enough is Enough template
