Proof that the left hand at Moorcroft really doesn't know what the right hand is doing (apart from that)

I received the same letter today that I received exactly a week ago - same account -

I wondered what would be waiting for me after my visit to DD. Not a lot as it happens.

2 letters from Fredricksons (both about Capital One account.) First one says that they've referred the matter to the client and account is on hold. The second one (dated only a couple of days later) asks me to phone them, all very nice and no demands - must be 'good cop' time!

Letter from LTSB re O/D - willing to accept my offer for 6 months and will then review. Funnily enough, originally they asked for my preferred payment method and I said 'online' They want me to go into any branch and pay in my £1. Is that so that I'll feel humiliated? Well, I've got news for them, it won't! I've grown a very thick skin.

I can either pay £40 per month and they'll cease any further action for an agreed period of time or I can pay 70% over 90 days as F&F.

Very considerate aren't they? I wonder how long it'll be before they get nasty? Or maybe they've done some research and found out that I've already got a ccj (and what the monthly payment is) and decided that it's not worth them pursuing it through the courts?

Should I ignore or write to them explaining that I'm unemployed and cant afford either of their offers?

Hiya Pixie - hope you are well.

How did you get on with this ?

I have just got a letter from them re my (also enforceable M&S account) telling me that they have checked with M&S ,it is legally enforceable etc etc etc.

              Hi Matty

I haven't been ignoring you - I went away and forgot to log off the site - doh!

Came back to another letter from Red Castle (Gothia), pre-litigation department re: M&S (enforceable account)

They've been reviewing my account prior to instructing Resolution Legal Services (another department?) to take the case on their behalf. I've to ring them by 12pm today or they'll consider a)warrant of execution, b) home visit to collect outstanding balance, c) attachment of earnings.

I think they're getting a bit ahead of themselves here (scare tactics?_- they keep mentioning the Judgement but they haven't got a judgement.

On the subject of judgements, my ccj isn't showing on my credit report.

Also got 2 letters from Link Financial re GE Money loan (enforceable. One was a notice of sums in arrears and another says if I don't take action on my account then they'll place my details with their Asset Investigation Department to validate my personal data. I can save them the hassle - I'm unemployed, my car's 10 years old, I rent my home and I don't have any stocks, shares or hidden treasure.

They also say that they'll pursue any action that may prove necessary to recover the balance without further reference to me. Does this mean that I can expect a N1 through the post?

Another letter from Fredricksons re Tesco cc (UE) asking if I can contact their office. I think you know what the answer to that is!

I was surprised that I didn't come back to more letters - not that I'm complaining!

Can't set up a SO for paying LTSB OD - the account number on the paying in slips is only 7 digits.

Another letter from Fred re Capital One account. Haven't had one of these before.

I haven't replied to the letter from Bryan Carter Solicitors but they are prepared to offer me one final opportunity to pay before recommending that Capital One instruct solicitors to issue a claim. "At this late stage and as a gesture of goodwill we are prepared to accept a full and final settlement provided you contact us within 48 hours of receipt of this letter."

Do you think they'll accept £40 as F&F?
