          Bloody CUSTOMER!!!!

Anyway this debt is enforceable..., if it were go legal I very much doubt I would win!?

Any thoughts (appreciate its personal decision), but should we just make an arrangement.

SORRY, It didn't appear to have followed from the Creation post!

I think this still holds true. We have a letter before action (LBA) to send requesting paperwork if they send a letter threatening legal action. As you are already dealing with a claim you are aware of the options if this occurs. If you receive a claim that is enforceable, it is possible to reach a legally binding arrangement, such as a Tomlin Order which will not result in a CCJ, but will stop further action.

As you have said, it is up to you to make a decision, but Jo and Di have and are giving you help already.

This is referring to Creation in post 205.

Thanks for the advice, whilst I don't want to pay money to a dca. There is a cost attributed to legal help, at one point do you "suck it up", so to speak.

                Cheers for the assistance.

Based on the small amount and the fact they are offering 30% off I would take them up on it and start monthly payments - after all, you'll be left with around £600 owing so if you were to pay even £50pm it'd be gone in a year..... that is what I'd likely do based on all the facts at hand.

Thanks, for the advice. But I think the original debt was circa 550, so the remainder is made up in interest/charges.

If I understand this correctly, this was a loan under an HP agreement. As with all credit, interest accrues. You are where you are, but a reduction of 30% is worth considering if this is an enforceable account.

                          Update.

Took advice from Niddy, just set up a DD to pay this off over 36 months.

Less pressure financially on our monthly outgoings! Would still have burden of defaults if I settled it earlier...

Advice needed, I have not CCA'd this account yet. Just received letter from Robinson Way, proposed reconnection visit 5th May.

I have never connected with them!?

Best course of action, CCA request?
Received a handwritten form back from Robinson Way, with returned postal order. No explanation why.
