  • CCA not received

    Hi,

I hope someone can help. I'm not sure what to write to this.
I have been chasing a CCA from Barclaycard since 2008, well, I say chasing, a few letters and a dispute letter when they sent me a terms and conditions sheet.

The account was recently passed to Lowell, who I wrote to say the account was in dispute. They have now come back to me to say Barclaycard advised them they completed my Section 78 request (can't remember what that means) in 2010 and sent it to an old address. But I had written to them from the mailing address I use and nothing had come to that.

Lowell seem to think that is the matter closed and they are now sending letter after letter to pay. The last thing I sent Barclaycard was the dispute letter a couple of years ago (from the new contact address).

I'm not sure what to do now, or who to write to, or what even I should be saying. A bit scared I will say the wrong thing. Could someone possibly help with what I should write back and to whom (I'm thinking Barclaycard and Lowell)? Thank you very much.

    Hiya

Well if you've not moved and have used the same mailing address just send Lowells one of these and leave it at that for now --> Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | CCA Query - Missing Prescribed Terms

That will get rid of Lowells for the time being.....

      Re: CCA not received

Thanks Niddy. Yeah, I did move (quite some time ago) but trying to keep some of them off my back I started writing from a PO Box address. So, when I was writing to Barclaycard they had the new contact address.
But Lowell have said Barclaycard told them they replied later in 2010 to my old address.

I have no idea what they sent then (if they sent anything)as it didn't get to me. But before that it was just terms and conditions.

Do I mention this anywhere, or just send the letter you suggested and not say anything else?

      Cheers again

        Just the template. Nothing else
