  • £80million more to Marlin

Good to know the RBS has lent this shower an additional £80million so they can buy up dodgy debts from the banks.

Good for RBS's balance sheet. They can add this additional lending to the figures they give out about how they are helping the economy when its all about the banks helping themselves.

Lend to the leeches who then help the banks with the dodgy debts who will then pay interest on the loan to the bank for the privledge.

There is something very very wrong with this system.

I also found it interesting that the debt buying industry in the UK is the most advanced and mature of any country in the world.

Thanks you spineless gutless politicos for allowing this to grow.

    Beggars belief!

A bit like a loan shark with a fish and chip shop giving out payday loans at %mega on condition you only spend the money at their chip shop...

        Re: £80million more to Marlin

The banks should be made to clean up the mess they make themselves.

They would then be perhaps less inclined to lend to people they shouldnt therefore less would get into trouble.

But of course that isnt how you make vast obscene profits. To do that you need people to get into trouble.

The people who fight back will be a tiny fraction of the millions who pay ontime on the treadmill of debt thinking they have no other option.

Me too. We are pretty late to this and only have a fraction of what many on here have to deal with but by just taking control of your own destiny it just makes you realise there are other ways.

Whatever mess thats cleared up, or regulation thats introduced will always be a farce, or a hidden advantage.

Dont forget that banks as well as other massive institutions often lobby MP's to get their own way, and while MP's are promised high paid jobs once they leave parliment or are bunged huge amounts of money to look the other way, nothing will ever change for the better.

The only way we can bring back, banking for the people, is if we wipe the whole system and start again. Is the only way.

Bring back the area Trustee & Savings Banks that were swallowed up for profit.

                            They aren't.

Turds are useful as a fertiliser or as a mulch.

                            Marlin isn't useful, is it?
