
I'm posting this for a good family friend, for two reasons:
1. It's absolutely disgusting; and

This is a complaint against Argos after my friend purchased a sofa from them, around 5th November. Now, at the time she placed the order on 5th Nov 2012 she was offered a 5 day delivery date which was fine as the sofa was in stock. However, my friend actually needed a later delivery due to moving house, so it made sense to get the new sofa delivered the day she moved to her new house.
Great, the sofa was in stock and she was promised 5 day delivery. So she instead requested the change of delivery to 22nd Nov 2012 - the date she was moving to the new house - and the order was accepted and payment taken.
The rest, will be email quotes to keep things easier to read.
