    Natwest Application - Pre Checker

    In case you're looking for a mainstream card and don't want to submit a full application, then test out Natwest Pre-Application Approval Indicator....

    It's worth a go folks, get over 47% chance of acceptance and chances are, you might well get accepted

      Mine would say fuck off and die considering I have a UE card with them (4 years in) for £2700

        They go back 3 years only

                I've got 10 defaults and 6 are within 3 years. I've been accepted for two full accounts. I've used the pre-app service above and got 60% chance as you can see. Give it a bash - see who can get a 100% chance

                Remember this will ONLY appear to you on your credit file as a "quotation search" so it's fine.

                  Two defaults, one 4 years this month (Natwest) and other 3.5 years. Got two other cards close to limit but low credit limits - probably why it told me to do one.

                    When Gold isn't enough, there is SA Gold! New to the forum and find the UE route a bit scary? Take a look at my diary here and judge for yourself. I am now saving the money each month that was making little difference to the balance and not a bit of difference to my credit file as a result of finding AAD.

                      I have one default for £900 that is nearly 6 years old and I got a no too.

                        I think if you've any debts within the RBS Group it says no; regardless - that'd breach internal lending policy hence hard coded into any results as an instant decline.

                        Its the only logical conclusion cos I opened a second account Tuesday and card etc is already here!

                        As I say I've more defaults than most and most are a year or two old!

                          Didn't like me either! No debts with RBS group; 3 Ming mong credit cards, 1 default from 2010 AND a CCJ from 2010. They say NO.
