    Hi all

I hope you can help me, I went bankrupt in early 2012, all has been great since then all my debt gone. I have remarried since then and moved house.
On Saturday I received a letter from Drydensfairfax Solicitors just with my old name on and just saying "they have been attempting to contact the above named person regarding a personal business matter and have been provided with the above address ect and asking me to contact them as soon as possible.
As you can imagine I was worrying about this and I googled the solicitor which is a debt collector agency.

I know I owe nothing and have no debt.
Should I just ignore this letter.
    Many thanks

    Hi & welcome

For that to occur it'd suggest you missed something from the BR or it's an error. Is it likely that you missed a creditor or did you include them all, for sure?

    For now don't do anything.

I'm 100% sure I included them all. I haven't heard anything from anyone since going bankrupt.

If there was a debt why wasn't it stated in the letter.? That's what I'm confused about. It's really worrying me now though.

      Thanks

It could be that someone with the same (or similar) name has a debt, and that Drydens are just fishing - hence why it doesn't mention the debt, and why Niddy has suggested not to do anything at present. Or as above, it could just be an error on their part.
