Hi Guys,

So after about 2/3 years of them not contacting me, ScotCall have emailed me this morning stating

DEBT COLLECTION NOTICE

Creditor:	O2 (UK) LTD
Balance:	735.54
Date:	25/04/2014

MR TIBETAN MONK

We have been appointed by the above client to recover from you the amount owed on the above contract.

Our client is disappointed that despite their attempts to contact you, you failed to pay or advise them of any financial problems that you may be having. We have therefore been instructed to visit you at your home to either collect the full balance due, or make arrangements for this long overdue debt to be repaid as quickly as possible.

To resolve this matter without the need for a personal visit, you should call one of our Advisors on 0844 257 8555 who will discuss your repayment options with you. Alternatively, you can repay the outstanding balance online using a debit or credit card at www.payscotcall.com

If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please let us know and we will do our upmost to help you.

If you choose to ignore this notice, we are left with no option but to instruct one of our Debt Collection Agents to visit you to discuss your proposals for repayment.

I'm pretty worried as I know they are debt collectors that go to your property.

Any ideas? They've not emailed me/contacted me for about 2/3 years since the contract was taken out, so unsure what to do.

I've not emailed them back nor have I phoned them, thought I'd speak to you first.

I was just getting my hopes up :P No you're right, I forgot that there was a weekend haha. I was working for the majority of, so it's all a blur at the moment.

So I've sent the prove it as Niddy suggested and they've ignored it and sent me this:

Lol okay. Just dont like the idea of a big scotcall van parked outside my door with two blokes knocking on my door for my street to see.

I don't think they have a van and, unless it said debt collection on the side, no-one would know who they were unless thewy were having debt problems themselves. When Moorcroft called on me it was just one guy on his own...and he went away when told to.
