Hi All, New to this. Sent a CCA request to an Alleged Account Purchaser and the £1 fee
was paid into the Alleged Account making it look like I had made that payment. What are
the Legal consequences of this action. Could it be construed as Fraud.

I’m starting this thread for reference purposes, just in case!
I’ve just had a Notice of Discontinuance dated 16th December from MKDP for a claim they issued in May 2012!
Brief history, reduced income in 2009 Barclaycard wouldn’t assist my OH so I didn’t bother approaching... -

Last payment june 2009
Default notice served by Mercers 1st October 2009.
Went round the houses, via Mercers,Scotcall,Calder, Credit Solutions, Power 2 Contact, AIC, and Wescot between October 2009, and May 2011.

I need some advice regarding a Default Date.
A Default date is on my credit file dated 26th November 2009.
The account was with Barclaycard and the default notice sent by Mercers Debt Colkection Agency who are agents for Barclaycard.

Wife's Barclaycard account now with MKDP
We have received a copy of the application form and reconstructed T&Cs for my wife's Barclaycard account from 2004 which has been sold to MKDP from a CCA request. Part of the copy is unreadable. There doesn't appear to be any details as to APR or repayment etc unless it is in the unreadable section.... -

Should i send a prove it letter or a CCA letter first?
My debt is with barclaycard, i've had the account since the year 2000. IDR finance have bought the debt off sharklycard, and LINK financial [on behalf of IDR finance] have sent me me a letter chasing after the money. Should i send them[IDR finance] a prove it letter, or a CCA request first? I have not... -
