  • Should i send a prove it letter or a CCA letter first?

My debt is with barclaycard, i've had the account since the year 2000. IDR finance have bought the debt off sharklycard, and LINK financial [on behalf of IDR finance] have sent me me a letter chasing after the money. Should i send them[IDR finance] a prove it letter, or a CCA request first? I have not contacted anyone up to this point at all, but i want to get the enforceability ball rolling.

I will be creating a diary once i get past this point.

    Many thanks for any help.

Hello, the last payment was in july 2013. I've had various letters from barclaycard, mercers, resolvecall and now IDR finance. I had a couple of home visits from resolvecall last Christmas, but no more since. I've attached the letter. Thanks
