HI All never been on a forum before, but Tasty Jane recommended you and I have lots of questions to ask about a DMP I am on. I must find time to collect my thoughts and post them, but must get back to work first. Thanks for your hello's and I'll catch up some.

                    Re: Welcome to Radioactive Jan

Oh No I took to long to ramble and my PC logged me out . I'll try to type faster this time and use bullet points.

DMP for over 4 years. Paid back over £40,000. 50% of my creditors (blood-suckers) still adding interest. Should have another £9,000 to go, but statements from creditors and Experian show over £20,000 outstanding. Tired of scrimping to pay and now having to find another £11,000 and this will keep increasing. Quite alot of my original £50,000 debt was charges ( late fees, write you a letter, missed payment, over limit etc) not money I had spent. Most of my 6 creditors are no longer with the companies I had credit with originally. I now have 2 barclaycards? and I have never applied for one of those - one might have been EGG or Goldfish or something. None of the reference numbers match my original credit numbers so I though I would write using your template and request my my CCA. I would just like to bring some tension to their lives, I've had enough of being a "good little Customer" who just hand money over to them. My "kids" - they never grow up really - are trying to set up homes and have young children, I would rather have some cash to help them rather than continue to pay £800 each month to companies that have had all they are owed already. Does applying for my CCA sound like the right place to start?

I would say set up a diary. Each debt is different and therefore each solution will be.

The team would be able to advise better if they see what you have.

And how rude of me welcome to the forum

                        Hi Jan,
Sending CCA's is a usually very good place to start
If you have a look here> Unenforceability Diaries - Read me First! - allaboutFORUMS
it shows you how to set up a diary in a new thread.
Start your new thread here> allaboutFORUMS with a separate post for each debt.

Then we can tell you the best way to deal with each individual one, as it can vary a little depending on type of debt and date of inception.

It's a lot of work at first but worth it in the long run, and we'll help you every step of the way, so if you're not sure of anything just shout
