Hi!
Well here I am attempting to start a diary on my abismal situation and my plans on what I can do to get out of it!
Well I have around £21,000 of debt that have been mostly racked up by 2 credit cards and catalogues.
Things took a major turn for the worse when my husband was made redundant last year and hasn't managed to find anything other than temporary work and its created a huge strain on me financially I've had to plough all my money into paying our priority debts while my other creditors then had to be paid less.
Im trying to sort things out but am very interested in requesting my cca from both MBNA and Barclaycard. Both of which Im pretty sure I didnt sign anything and send back. I have been literally researching for 3 days solid into this to work out whether this is a wise option to take. Both have already defaulted me so I'm thinkin there is very little I have to lose anyway. I intend on writing to them along with a postal order and see what their response is- I will almost certainly need some help if anything is then returned as that's where my knowledge on it becomes a little slushy- However I am looking forward to the journey that this may take me on as I already feel so much more empowered that Im taking my debt problems by the horns and tackling them.
Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
