  • Unenforceable Loans

    Hi all

I started the unenforceable loan process with RBS in Jan 2010, I have written confirmation that the RBS cannot enforce my loan through the courts. After a few months of quiet I have received a letter asking me to return to them a list of all my income and outgoings with a suggestion as to how much I can afford to repay on a monthly basis.

My feeling is to ignore this but would be grateful for your confirmation.

    Many thanks indeed

    Gill

Hiya, if you have such a letter then keep it safe - do not lose it!

Basically, all you need to do is respond to anyone that makes threats to you, by copying the letter and sending the copy with the following template: ---> NEW CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA

That pretty much tells the new DCA etc to get lost! Remember, when you're dealing with UE you have to realise that the moment they find an agreement then it becomes enforceable again so although it is good news now, things can (and may) change.

Also, bear in mind that although they cannot enforce the debt, they can (and will) hassle you to repay - you need to ignore such letters, meaning ignore the one you have just been sent...

      Well done - result
