  • Returned postal order

After ignoring several letters from a DCA acting on behalf of the original creditor, I decided it was time /prudent to send off a CCA request.
I sent of the request on Monday, and have today had my postal order returned with simply a compliment slip. I also received a separate letter from the DCA saying they had requested the information and my account has been put on temporary delay whilst they verify my liability to pay the amount due.

Is there anything to worry about by them returning the postal order??

I don't think so - dcas do strange things! But someone else may come along who knows more. EDIT: Niddy came along

Did you send the cca request recorded delivery?

Keep hold of the PO in case you need to send it again.

Thanks all - thought there wasn't anything to worry about but wasn't sure.

        Yes, sent everything recorded.

The credit card was a TSB trustcard opened in the late 80's, so hopefully they won't be able to find anything.

if they confirm they cant find anything and your stuck with the PO, just take it back to the post office with the receipt and they will give you £1 back.

Cant claim the 50p fee though im afraid

            Hi Fraser

we also have a TSB trustcard (70s) CCA 2010 lloyds keep telling us we would of signed one and will send it when they find it, I've even asked them under CPUTR and they wont answer yes or no
SAR'ed them this year and it says in the middle of the SAR that they haven't reterived it as their record keeping started after the account was opened,
they have just sent it to a DCA so waiting to see what happens next, but I will prob send a letter saying that I'm still waiting for the agreement they are looking for

            good luck Nightwatch
