  • Lloyds TSB!

So I got a copy of my criedt file today and its actually not as bad as I thought!!

but here a question I have one UE cC with lloyd which I see a default on with a date of 09/09/2010 which is fine.

However I had an OD with lloyds which im paying back via Apex...

now, I have 2 defaults for that account one for the orginal amount... and one for the current balance.

Both defaults were registered the same day Surely you can't be defaulted twice on the same account right?

Oh and on a side note--I paid of British gas a reduced amount and got a settled letter - however I see the remaining money still showing? and it doesn't say settled?

One default, for the original balance.

They should be updating the balance of that defaulted account, but on the original defaulted account.

Write to the CRA with proof that it is one debt. Then after 28 days complain to both the ICO and the FOS at the same time.

Right edited this because I THINK I know what's happening. I THINK you may be describing one ledger entry but with 2 amounts - the original default sum and the running sum. Is this correct? Its probably kosher but if you could do a screen print, edit out the personal bitsand balances, and post up the raw bones of it that would be helpful as its hard to picture what's going on.

There should not be 2 separate ledger entries for one defaulted account. But there will be 2 balances, the default sum and the present default amount.

This is fine - so long as the start date tallies.

The only thing iI can think of... C2 that current balance is when i had an agreement with lloyds (paid them 30.00) and then they sold it off to apex... ater 1 month of payments.

If so jen then one entry would show as apex. Just complain to experian saying it's the same account and to remove one entry.

                    Its easy enough to sort.

But it doesn't matter right now. It's hassle you don't need.

                      However see my last post

True enough Nid, It just shocked me to learn I actually only had this default and the UE account lol.

Really bizarre there are 2 entries. Should be just the one. Get them to change it as suggested.

Its not necessarily what others see on your CRFs mind you, it might just appear like that on your Experian account.

"C" entries are account entries thus viewable by all that search

Hmmm... useful to know. All the more reason to have the 2nd one removed then. Is it a technical glitch by Experian?
