..... We had a pre-Christmas dinner on the 20th and then did it all again on the 25th. I've put on a bit of weight but nothing drastic, so it's all good. How about you?
I'm still waiting for confirmation of my exit agreement at work though but won't hear now until the 5th at least. Really wanted to celebrate leaving on NYE, as this is/was the potential leaving date but thought it might be tempting fate a little, so didn't bother. Christmas has really dragged things out unfortunately.Remember the mantra:

No confirmation as yet.... I've asked the union to chase it as the termination date has now passed.

An educational establishment which now follows a business model. Not sure how that can be applied to education, to be honest..... but do know that this was around the time I started to feel like a commodity myself.
Already written the memoirs CC. Thought I'd need a full timeline of events at some point, so covered the last 2 years, just in case.
Education is certainly nowhere near what it used to be...... quite an eye-opener at times.Remember the mantra:

Still no answer FFS! This is really starting to piss me off now..... I have drafted an email to the union to get them to chase it again which will be sent in the morning if I hear nothing by the close of play today.
I need to know if I'm still an employee or not before I can move forward and it's now nearly a fortnight after the proposed termination date! If I'm no longer an employee, I will need to make plans to safeguard myself financially and they are effectively stopping me from doing this.Remember the mantra:

Just adding to your case if they go back on their offer lovely...... contact the union and get them to put pressure on for you... you have reached this position due to their poor management causing you stress and anxiety - this latest issue is obviously causing you more stress! Nice one if it ever goes legal.... You are still covered under your fit for work note - you haven't formally had your contract terminated, you are still an employee....
