Glad things are going well for you, you certainly helped me these past two years, It sounds like the place I worked for... you re not alone if thats any consolation. But I always think when you come out of the mire and look back, sometimes the muck is slung to push you to something better...

Thanks Cym :-) They're not offering redundancies though - staff are just being shunted into a different provision and dumped by the parent school. So glad I got out of there..... :-) x

Hi Pixie... and everyone....

Things are going well and I'm building things up slowly. It's been a journey of real highs and lows though, including lots of enquiries (highs) and then people getting scared and cancelling their consultations (lows). Nevertheless, I have some regular clients now and am continuing to build things up slowly.... There have been moments when I've thought about walking away. It's been hard to get my name out there but I've been fortumate to know someone who started up herself about a year ago doing something else..... so we've mentored each other through a lot of things. I woouldn't walk away from it now..... but some of the issues I hear from clients are horrendous.... and that's putting it mildly.... so self-care is an absolute must.

By the way..... the school I was at before is being closed down. I can't help but laugh..... They couldn't have managed their way out of a paper bag - lol!

**Update**

Insurance is now in place, business cards have been printed, Facebook page is going well and the advertising will start next week. Like all new ventures, it will be slow to start but I'm prepared for that so it's all good in the hood. :-)
