Thanks everyone..... I've not been on here for a while, as there's been lots to research, etc.

I've now got all advertising literature sorted, my Facebook page is up and running, I'm just finishing off my Practitioner/Client Agreement..... outlining mutual responsibilities; nothing legally binding though..... which leaves Professional Indemnity insurance to sort..... and them I'm all set.

Insurance is now in place, business cards have been printed, Facebook page is going well and the advertising will start next week. Like all new ventures, it will be slow to start but I'm prepared for that so it's all good in the hood. :-)

Hi Pixie... and everyone....

Things are going well and I'm building things up slowly. It's been a journey of real highs and lows though, including lots of enquiries (highs) and then people getting scared and cancelling their consultations (lows). Nevertheless, I have some regular clients now and am continuing to build things up slowly.... There have been moments when I've thought about walking away. It's been hard to get my name out there but I've been fortumate to know someone who started up herself about a year ago doing something else..... so we've mentored each other through a lot of things. I woouldn't walk away from it now..... but some of the issues I hear from clients are horrendous.... and that's putting it mildly.... so self-care is an absolute must.

By the way..... the school I was at before is being closed down. I can't help but laugh..... They couldn't have managed their way out of a paper bag - lol!
