    Hi I'm looking for some advice regarding sunny and lendingstream i currently have 3 loans with sunny and 5 loans with the lending stream I have received an email from lending stream offering a waiver of all 5 loans a total of nearly £900 after sending an email of complaint about irresponsible lending what I'd like to know is if I should accept this waiver or should I also be asking for the interest refunded on the previous 20 loans I've taken out in the last 7 months? Also should I send an email to sunny about irresponsible lending too? Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place im not very good on these forums thanks for any help in advance.

    Hi Aimee and welcome to AAD!

    If you have an email from LS waiving your existing 5 loans on the basis of irresponsible lending then you have done very well and I doubt you would be successful in getting the interest returned from earlier loans. That said, theres nothing stopping you from writing to them and asking

    I would be very interested if you could post up (removing personal information), your letter of complaint to LS and what arguments you used.

    As far as Sunny are concerned then yes by all means go for it also - what have you to lose?

      Thanks for replying snv I have written back to them accepting the waiver and asking also for a refund on the interest on the other 19 loans,the email they sent me they weren't agreeing they were irresponsible in they're lending that's why I can't understand why they've offered to waiver all 5 open accounts,I will post the email I sent them but it was just one from this site I think with my own information put in.

        Dear sir/madam
        I have had 19 loans with your company between June 2015 and January 2016
        I have been borrowing very frequently and up to a maximum amount for months,your
        payday loans have required me to take out other pay day loans just to make the
        payments so i can still pay my monthly living expenses.
        My income for this period was between per month an average of
        from employment and the rest from benefits,I have 4 young children at home and I
        support them solely.
        My living expenses vary but are roughly, rent- council tax-water
        electric-gas-car costs-food+toiletries -childcare
        other debts total
        This shows I couldnt afford to repay these loans and have to take out more loans
        to repay loans I feel it has been irresponsible of you to continue allowing these
        loans I currently have 5 loans and I will be unable to make the payments or I will
        be in severe hardship as my hours have reduced at work.
        You should have been able to tell this from credit reports which showed you the
        other borrowing I had and my debt problems. So you should never have given me
        these unaffordable loans.
        I would like to ask you to refund me the interest from previously repaid loans and
        freeze interest on outstanding loans so I can afford to repay the outstanding
        balance with a payment plan. Thankyou Aimee.

            That's great that you've got Lending Stream to waiver 5 loans

            There's no harm in seeing if Sunny will do the same.
