I think that should be a compulsory read for anyone who is going down the UE route! Priceless!

Yes, but that's ok if there's only one calling - I can't be bothered when there's a whole gaggle of them! I think I'll stick to the standard procedure of ignoring the ones I know about and failing security for the ones that I don't recognise the number of. A few letters to the ones that withhold their number (I have to answer those as it's my business line!) should stop them eventually!

                    Re: enoughisenough's UE Diary

A trio of lovely letters today!!!

                    1. Letter from Apex re Cahoot (no. 3 on list) saying that the account is unenforceable and telling me what they can and can't do.
                    :UE

                    2. Letter from RobWay re: HFC (no. 4 on list) saying that they are satisfied that the documentation they have provided (they mean a blank CCA) is sufficient to demonstrate my liability and they won't enter into any more correspondence about this.
                    Presuming that I ignore this!

                    3. Letter from Link re: Virgin/MBNA (no. 8 on list) stating... "Your failure to respond to our telephone calls and messages leaves us with only a handful of options at this stage." Too right it does! Presumably ignore this as well.

                    Cheers all!

One more today from Al CapOne (no. 7) who are not going to change their position... blah blah blah and mention something about Judge Waksman QC to lend a bit of weight to it!

                            Ignore this one too?

I'm beginning to realise that 99.9% of all letters are designed to psychologically scare you into giving them some money. They prey on your fears and insecurities, without actually really saying anything at all in their letters!
