  • Claiming back payments on UE debt

Hey, couldnt decide whether this question was best suited to here, or Unenforceable forum..

    Thread moved to UE forum.

As some of you may be aware, I am aiming to reclaim Barclaycard charges for my cousin.. We are waiting for SAR to be fulfilled currently. In the mean time though, he is paying monthly installments of around £200 per month, in order to pay an agreed F&F settlement.

If, however, the SAR comes through, and it turns out to be UE, would it be possible to claim these payments back under the term he was mis-led to make these payments by the threat of enforcement (well, those letters from Mercers saying if he does not pay they may take further action to recover money etc...)?

Seems a viable argument to me...

Re: Credit Card Charges, plus arrangement to pay

    Hiya

I don't know much about how the UE works, but sure Niddy or co will have more knowledge of that (and if you've not done so already, maybe you can post about this on the UE thread as well), see what they say about this one.

However, anything related to PPI, give us a yell later on once you know the above, as we will treat the charges separate to that of the ppi reclaiming.
