I'm on the warpath with junk mail leafleters. I'm very territorial about my private land at the best of times (get orf moi land!) and it adds insult to injury when these pricks ignore polite notices not to push their unwanted wares through my letterbox.
They have no respect for the wishes of the property owner and, when "implied license" has been revoked, THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO EVEN BE THERE!
The latest phase is that I printed out a nice flyer of my own about the fact I don't want their flyers and that they are in fact trespassing if they continue posting them against my express wishes, laminated it and stuck it on the glass panel above my letterbox with Blu-tack on Saturday. On Monday morning, it had disappeared! No trace of Blu-tack left behind, so it won't have been just blown off in the wind, it was physically removed. Who the *@&$ do these $%^£s think they are?
Am I the only one who gets peed off by this sort of thing? It's the fact that they have NO RIGHT to even be there, yet still brazenly disrespect the householder's wishes, that annoys me.
Should I just 'get a grip' and resign myself to this happening or should I take further action? I know that pursuing them for civil trespass in the courts is unlikely to have much success, and they obviously know this too. How about trying to get an ASBO served on them? Their behaviour surely is anti-social by any definition?
