    CDP Ltd will help firms to reassess their terms and conditions documents in order to remove any loopholes by which debtors can avoid paying back what they owe.
    Will they?

    Looks like just another dodgy bailiff/enforcement firm to me..

    Who I note can't even manage to have an up to date link to the OFT DC guidance on their site, so god knows how they think they are going to correctly advise others.

      They are also involved in commercial debt recovery and the sleazy world of parking 'fine' enforcement (i.e. you overstay by 10mins when Morrisons gets too busy).

      To be fair, if creditors got their houses in order and did their due diligence 'loopholes' wouldn't exist in the first place.

      Simple fact is many of them cannot be bothered, or the cost of compliance is actually more than the money lost through the 'loopholes' so they don't care anyway.

        Fooking ell, they can reassess all they like but it will not change things if they do not comply so what are they selling naff all.

          It all seems a bit irrelevant really, with regard to chasing UE in our part of the world, they can't backdate changes to T&Cs already existing, and post 2007 it doesn't matter.

          Looks to me that this applies more to the commercial sector.
