    So British banks decide to "curb" mortgage lending to British nationals which means "foreigners" can buy up the UK housing stock since they're cash buyers. Not good.

      Isn't a mortgage of more than 4 times income really irresponsible lending. In days of old it was 2.5 or 3 times salary
