I did this with an energy supplier who, despite being politely and firmly requested to stop calling me persisted in ringing my mobile.
Once they called me when I was in Spain, thereby costing me money to take their sales call.

I eventually wrote to the chief exec of the company advising him that my terms and conditions had changed and that any permission, express or implied, for them to call me was hereby withdrawn and that from here on in any calls would invoke a charge of £150 for my time. I also said that acceptance of the terms would be signified by them making a call to my mobile and no further correspondence would be necessary.

        Guess what? They stopped calling!

To be honest some people have been doing the same for a while, especially regarding leaflet drops thru the mail, i.e. sending a Bill for time and disposal of the trash, a lot have paid up the Bills just before a court case, that seems to stop precedence being made.
