    • Congratulations on joining the Joanna Connolly appreciation society! As Di has told you try not to worry about this. (This always so easy to say, but not so easy to do!) Joanna and her team are brilliant and will help sort everything out for you. Their knowledge and success rate are excellent. They will explain all your options and guide you in the right direction.
      Good luck.

As others have said, They will be able to explain and advise you of the way forward. I can confirm from personal experience that Jo and her colleagues are fantastic.

                • It is great that I came across this forum. I really need some consultation and advice on the credit. However, I would like to meet in real-time. Are there experts in the area of *********** ? I would like to know the cost of the advice and how quickly I can arrange the meeting? If there are specialists here, please send me your quotes to my private box. Many thanks.

                    Hello fpoiela

I agree it’s rare for creditors to send general correspondence by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, but it can happen if it’s a package in response to a Subject Access Request.

And sometimes it’s done to establish if the person is still living at an address so they seek a signature for confirmation.

Incidentally, if you have Royal Mail Redirect set up, Royal Mail inform the sender that the letter/package has been redirected, albeit they don’t reveal the new address. However that’s enough to let the sender know the person who they were trying to reach doesn’t live there.

Some debt purchasers and/or their instructed solicitors then issue a court claim to the old address allowing them to potentially obtain a Default Judgment if the debtor doesn’t received it.

Do you have any debts which you would like help with?

                    Di
