If it was sent by second class post, it's probably invalid, as insufficient notice was given to comply with section 88(2) - link - of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
Items sent by second class post are deemed to have been served four working days after being posted which, because of Easter, actually means 11/04/12. Even with it arriving today, there are less than 14 days to comply with the notice.

Re: Helmsman UE Diary
As per pm
It's weird mate but as the FOS is an arbitrary service they'd plead exemption to DPA s.7 based on it being sensitive to the neutral outcome of a case. A good way of looking at it; if we didn't have such exemptions it'd mean we could SAR our opposition in a legal case to find out their attack/defence before trial so the exemption allows "sensitive or relevant arbitrary info" to be exempt.
Sorry mate. That's what I'd do so that's what they'll probably do.I'm the forum administrator and I look after the theme & features, our volunteers & users and also look after any complaints or Data Protection queries that pass through the forum or main website. I am extremely busy so if you do contact me or need a reply to a forum post then use the email or PM features offered because I do miss things and get tied up for days at a time!

Many thanks for quick reply no worries then I will just hope they found in our favour, the fact they hace given the bank 2 weeks to reply I thought sounded hopeful.
