10/02/2012 Received letter from DCA informing me that the OC cannot produce my agreement.
    This therefore makes it UE

What is the best response here please?
    'Sold whilst in dispute'
    thanks
30/10/12 FlowerpowerIn view of the fact they couldn't locate the CCA. I would send this instead, with a copy of said letter saying they couldn't find it ---> Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | CCA Query - Letter Previously Confirming No CCA
30/10/12 Don't worry, it won't hurt to inform a new DCA that the account is in dispute. When they next contact you arguing their client has complied you can then hit them with the "but they couldn't find it" letter.

10/02/2012 Received letter from them asking for the £1 fee. They had already sent me a letter telling me that they were requesting the docs from the OC.

Hi Niddy/I2D Just got a letter from a new DCA informing me that they are now responsible for recovery of o/s amount.
This account has never had a CCA although requested by me and reminder sent(see above) .What response should I send please.
      Thanks
24/10/12 Flowerpower: Usually when a new DCA contacts you for the first time, you need to inform them that the account is disputed as they wouldn't have a clue, thus you'd send this ---> Our Templates | Unenforceability Templates | Account Sold whilst in Dispute
...even if the account hasn't been SOLD as such.

      3/11/12 Hi Niddy/In2Deep
Received letter from DCA saying that they have been unable to contact me......but offered me a F&F 40%.Or they will pass to collection agency who will arrange a doorstep visit.
The date shown on the letter is the 29th and the date they received my recorded delivery (sold whilst in dispute) was the 25th.Possible timing crossover??
What would be the best response for me to get off on Monday?
      Thanks

If it was me I'd just ignore it and see what comes next, but then I am never worried about doorstep visits. If these bother you, you could send this -

Our Templates | Harassment & Intimidation Templates | Harassment & Threat of Doorstep-Visit

The start of it might need amending if they haven't been trying to telephone you.

I don't think the issue of whether or not the letters crossed really matters, the point is that you've told them of the dispute which was in place at the time of the assignment. I'd just wait if it was me.

I left this until now to request CCA as I planned to phase all my CCA requests over the last 12+ months.Didn't want to overload the DCA/OC in one hit.

08/08/2012 CCA request sent this morning by special delivery

The 12+2 days are up.Should I wait a bit longer before I cancel my monthly token payment.?
Also is there any real need before I do this to write and request a response to my CCA request?

As Barclays have in fact ignored my initial CCA request and follow up letter should I send these newbies a 'sold in dispute' or wait for their 'phone calls and letters?
                  Thanks Nids and I2D.

Barcraps seem very clumsy to say the least. They admitted they couldn't produce mine (linky) and acknowledge they cannot enforce as a result.

Write the call down on a note pad, date, time who called etc

You will need evidence if they do sue , so as they say, be prepared
