06/10/10 - CCA Request sent to Mercers
22/10/10 - letter rec'd from Barclaycard - "acknowledge my CCA request and will respond asap".

..and here we go again Niddy - more of your time and advice please.

Update to above acc: 19/02/11

CCA received from Barclaycard Visa in response to my request back in October 2010, which is quite strange as I received Formal Demand for Payment from them yesterday.


It just looks like old and new T&C’s to me along with covering letter and nothing else but I will e-mail them to you.

OK Niddy,

over the past few days I have put quite a few updates on my diary, I do know you are very very busy and thank you in advance for you help/advise.

I will sit patiently and wait for your replies and not get stressed. And then will spring into action on your say so .

I think I read on someone elses diary that you were having a weekend off and would return to the diaries early next week - hope you have a good "rest" and look forward to hearing from.

Received a letter from Barclaycard MASTERCARD (account 6) today:

Formal Demand for Payment

“As you have not complied with recent Default Notice, the outstanding balance is due in full and we demand payment immediately…balance will accrue interest….we will in form CRA….may affect your ability to get credit….If we do not receive payment in 7 days a Debt Collector may call upon you for repayment or we may proceed with legal proceedings against you….we may also transfer money from other Barclays acc’s you hold with us in accordance with our right to set off....to stop further action call us………”

I still have not received my CCA for this acc. from my request back in October last year. The last I heard from them was a letter acknowledging my CCA request on 22/10/10. .

Send this back:---> Debtors Final Response - No CCA Received

Received a letter from Clarity today:

“thank you for your recent letter…..we have requested further info from EGG and will be in contact once we have received a response”

I assume it’s in response to my letter sent to them on 27/01/11 “threat o gram before legal action”.

I will just file and wait to see what happens next.

Letter from RBS received in response to my “Application form received” letter I sent to Triton on 3/2/11.

They are basically saying that the:

"CCA is a true copy....do not consider the account to be in dispute....will be pursuing for full payment....see no reason to enter into further correspondence with the alleged CCA breaches."

Do I need to send anything? or just ignore and see what their next move is?

Update to above acc: 19/02/11

Letter from Tesco received in response to my “Threat o gram – to commence litigation” letter of 14/02/11 sent to Triton. It says:

“ we do not consider acc to be in dispute….have fully complied with CCA request….indebtedness remains due and payable and will pursue for full repayment….this is our final response…if dissatisfied with this final response you may refer concern to FOS…..”

Do I need to respond with anything on this one?

A lot of these you know the answers to - please try and read the templates as each scenario does have a corresponding template..... it does ease my workload, I just read War & Peace when really one liners saying "Niddy, RBS sent this (link to letter)" would have saved me ages mate

Just asking you to try and take the lead yourself and come to me when you're up the creek mate

Will try and not create "War and Peace" on future posts , and I will try and take the lead and read the templates.

I have received 2 letters today from Tesco and Barclaycard MATERCARD but I think I know the answers/appropriate replies , but will post here briefly so I and others can follow.

the letter rec'd from Tesco is in response to my Threat o gram "doorstep visit" letter in which they say "can not uphold my complaint as acc still remains unpaid and acc is enforceable"

I will file and ignore and see what happens next.

The letter from Barclaycard MASTERCARD is my CCA which is pretty much the same as the one received for my Barclaycard VISA acc a few days ago, which is just old and new T&C's.

I can e-mail the terms if you require Nid as they are from a different year to the VISA acc.

But for the moment I will send the CCA Query "T&C's received" template back to Barclaycard MASTERCARD.
