If so can you ring and tell them to check their records as you have proof that you did send correspondence in and it was signed for on X date. Then explain, pass the account back or you will take action against them, and they will then be liable for your costs....
Should be fine doing this (withold your number, obviously).....
If you don't have their number - I do! (I have most of them lol):---:> 01527405495

No, they were very sneaky and there are no contact details on there at all, it was only cause I looked at the back of the envelope I noticed it was the same address as Apex.Originally posted by Never-In-Doubt View PostOk, is there a number on the HL letter?

Re: The Scarednshakins UE Diary
Its all the same firm, as you've already sent the threat template, you can send it again if you want - to Apex?Originally posted by Mrs Scarednshakin View PostMorning Niddy, hope all is well with you.
I posted out the above letter on 5 May to Apex. Today I get a letter from HL Legal and Collections (no address on the letter for them, but same address as Apex on back of envelope).
The letter is dated 3 May and we only received it this morning.
NOTICE OF PENDING LEGAL ACTION
They have been instructed by Apex and unless Apex receive payment in full or a valid reason for non-payment of the account within the next 7 days, then court proceedings may be taken.
Never had any contact from HL before, do I send them a copy of the letter I sent Apex on 5 May. They do say that 'we are instructed not to enter into correspondence with you at this stage' isn't that nice of them but as they have written to me I only think it is polite to respond
I will wait to see what you think is the best thing to do.
Cheers Niddy and speak to you soon
Otherwise they do this to act ignorant, ie pretend they never received it - so sending one special delivery ensures that if they try and take action, you can show the court that the account was indeed disputed and that Apex knew damn well fine it was as well....

Have been ignoring them so far, will send out Threat of Litigation letter, hope that ok and hope it is as sunny with you as it is up here

Got response to Threat of Litigation letter I sent back in January. Moorcroft have contacted RBS and they say they have sent out copy of agreement and that they have also issued a final response.
'In order to assist you further we would ask that you confirm recipt of our client's correspondence and should you have any unresolved concerns regarding your liability for this account please provide further details and we will ensure that this matter is investigated further with our client'
Any ideas what I should send out to this one or ignore as well?!?!
Cheers
Thanks for the beer Niddy passed it on to OH, he is busy working just now, working closer to home now so making a big difference.
