As a result, they have authorised us to consider a discounted settlement' This is available for 10 days from date of letter and tells us to phone them to discuss.

Never heard anything from them since January 2011

Other letter from Robinson Way for Lloyds Account No 5 they are passing the account back to Lloyds

Anyway got a letter today from C.A.R.S about Mr SNS Monument account, have not heard anything about this one since November last year. The letter has been sent to the wrong address!!! But has at the top of the letter in big red letter Confirmed Resident.

'Having conducted preliminary searches our tracing division have confirmed your residency at the above address' - bloomin useless tracing division, luckily the person did not open it when they got it and passed it onto us!!!

'There fore we are left with the only possible conclusion in that you are choosing to ignore our clients repeated requests for payment' - not heard from Monument since November last year.

'They have now authorised us to pro9ceed in whichever way we deem appropriate, within the boundaries of the law, to recover their monies' - then goes on with the usual drivel, doorstep collection, litigation specialists etc etc

Just send out Niddy special account sold and doorstep letter? Never heard of CARS before, but sopmeone in the office obvioulsy has found that you can type in red text and CAPITAL LETTERS

    Cheers Niddy
Another letter from CARS with INTENDED LEGAL PROCEEDINGS as the heading, boy do they like red and caps!!!! Think it may have crossed in the post, so will just ignore. Thanks

I posted out the above letter on 5 May to Apex. Today I get a letter from HL Legal and Collections (no address on the letter for them, but same address as Apex on back of envelope).

The letter is dated 3 May and we only received it this morning.

    NOTICE OF PENDING LEGAL ACTION

They have been instructed by Apex and unless Apex receive payment in full or a valid reason for non-payment of the account within the next 7 days, then court proceedings may be taken.

Never had any contact from HL before, do I send them a copy of the letter I sent Apex on 5 May. They do say that 'we are instructed not to enter into correspondence with you at this stage' isn't that nice of them but as they have written to me I only think it is polite to respond I will wait to see what you think is the best thing to do.

Cheers Niddy and speak to you soon
Also got a letter about this account, Apex passed it back to Lloyds who then passed it to Moorcroft. I had sent out 'Threat of Litigation' letter and today got a response from Moorcroft.

'can confirm we have been incontact with Lloyds who have advised that they confirm that a copy agreement was indeed provided to you on 3/11/2010. They request that you contact their Concerns Team'

'I can also confirm that I have placed this account on hold for 2 weeks and request you make contact with our call centre to discuss a repayment proposal. Please be aware that if contact is not made our follow up of this account will recommence'

Nice to know that Lloyds have a Concern Team

Do I send anything out to Moorcroft about this letter or ignore?

Cheers Niddy, hope you and yours are all well

Received a letter from Monument today, not sure what this is

'You will have received a letter in about June 2007 informing you that a) Barclays Bank PLC transferred its rights in your Monument credit card account to R Raphaels & Sons PLC ("Raphaels Bank") and b) Raphaels Bank would then transfer its rights in your account to Compucredit Group. We are now writing to tell you about which company will now be dealing with your Monument credit card agreement.

Due to the status of your account as above, and because you have therefore failed to meet the terms of your Monument card agreement, Compucredit will be placing your account swith JC International Aquisition Corporation ("JCIAC"). They will contact you shortly to provide you with information regarding their Balance Transfer Programme. This is an innovative way to address your debt and we believe that this is a programme you would be interested in learning more about. However, if you do not wish to receive information about the Balace Transfer Programme, please contact JCIAC on 0800051 4109 within 15 days.'

What do I do with this one, I like the bit about failing to meet the terms of my CCA - what CCA :?: :?:

    Cheers Niddy 2[/quote:2ekdpsbw]

Hi Niddy, received a letter today regarding the Monument account.

It is headed Balance Transfer Programme and it says that our Compucredit Group debt has been placed with them for collection, but they are a different kind of collection company, they want to work with us to cler the debt and improve our situation - ain't that so kind of them 2

It seemingly works in 3 simple steps, hope you are ready for this!!

Step 1 we agree to repay our outstanding debt via the Balance Transfer Programme and we will prepay a Total Qualifying Amount of £396.00, in 12 monthly payments of £33.00.

Step 2 Providing that we have paid our Total Qualifying Amount they will credit our debt with £477.49 to reduce our balance even further!!!!

Then - you will like this bit, if they have received our SIGNED credit agreement the remaining balance witll be transferred to our new Rise Visa Credit Card 1

Step 3 We continue to make the monthly minimum payments as outlined in our statements.

So basically we sign a new agreement and they give us a new card with our old balance on it, the really good thing is as well going by the address of the credit agreement it is Monument that have sent this out, just under another name.

What super letter will I send out to this as I have not got a clue. I do love the fact that they think we are going to sign another agreement though, bless them ;D

Will I send out Refusal by DCA letter?
