Moorcroft seem to be particularly good at the scare tactics letters, all this Pre Court Division stuff.... I'm sooo tempted to set up a "Muppet Liaison Department" at my address and send my letters to DCAs from there....
That would be a good idea, could maybe set up DCA 'Muppet of the Month' Award, only thing is think the competition would be too strong...

Only other thig we have had is 2 calls from Lloyds - witheld no, very sneaky. Hubby refused to go through security. They have now sent out 2 letters to us informing us that they are dealing with our complaint and that they are very sorry we have had to complain. The only problem is that they have not included any account nos and we have not complained (recently) to them. Will wait and see what they come back with.

Ok Niddy, that is diary up to date. The site looks really fab, can't believe how much time and effort you have put in.

Had not heard anything on this one for months (had hoped they might have forgotten - he he)

Anyway letter from Barclaycard, looks like Westcot have given up. Barclaycard sent out the same letter and copy of docs that they sent out to me in May 2010. Do I just ignore?!?

Letter from Iqor today ref the Account in Dispute letter I sent out in October. They have done a complete investigation into my complaint and are concerned that I had to complain in the first place - bless

Anyway they say that they contacted HBOS and they replied with 'Our Customer Relations Dept has issued a final response letter to you as a copy of your agreement was sent.

Should you have any further queries to contact their Contact Relations Dept, the letter we sent was in May 2010 and no further contact had been made to date.'

They have taken our telephone number off, so they listened to that part of the letter. They state in the letter that 'they acted in good faith and on our Client's instructions in our attempts to collect the balance that our Client believes to be outstanding. Please contact us with your repayment proposals or advise us how you intend to deal with this matter.'

I notice they said that it is a balance that our client BELIEVES to be outstanding, thought that was interesting. They have put the account on hold for 2 weeks for us to contact them, what would be the best letter to send out next Niddy?

    Thanks Mrs SNS
Ignored this as advised Niddy, so it looks like Iqor have passed this one on to Wescot, here we go again!!!

Sent out Account Sold while in Dispute letter, hope that is ok Niddy.

Morning everyone :hello hope it is not too cold where you are. It is freezing up here and very white, fed up with the snow now cause can't get to the shops to finish shopping.

Got a letter today from Moorcroft Pre-Court Division - scary they put that bit in red.

The letter is 'to prevent the possible action blah blah, send payment before 24/12' don't think so.

Then huge bit in caps and red type 'notice of possible litigation' Then usual if we do not contact them they may blah blah, also gives a breakdown of balance, court fees, solicitors fees etc :beaker :bert :zoot

Do I send out same letter again? Thanks Niddy hope you and yours are all well and ready from Christmas ;xm45[/quote:xu950o29]

Hi Niddy, letter from Moorcroft this morning, account is on hold until they investigate this matter Hopefully won't hear from them for a while
